SR&ED Tax Credits

Your innovation may qualify for more than recognition.

The Scientific Research & Experimental Development program provides tax credits to Canadian businesses that develop new products, processes or technology. We help you understand whether your work qualifies and prepare a well-supported claim.

What is SR&ED?

SR&ED is a federal tax incentive program that supports Canadian businesses conducting research and development. Qualifying businesses can receive investment tax credits — refundable for Canadian-controlled private corporations — on eligible expenditures including wages, materials and overhead.

The program is administered by CRA and requires careful documentation. Claims are reviewed and can be audited, so the quality of your claim preparation matters.
